Madness was formed in 1976 in Camden, London, and with their distinctive style and iconic hits, they have become one of the UK’s most beloved bands. With over 15 million albums sold, their unique energy, and humor on stage, they have built a loyal fanbase worldwide and cemented their place as one of the most influential and entertaining bands in history.

Throughout their career, Madness has achieved 10 top-10 albums and 15 top-10 singles in the UK, receiving numerous prestigious awards and accolades. Since their beginnings in the late '70s, they have consistently released music, with both their classic hits and new songs reaching multiple generations of fans. Most people can hum along to their iconic hits like "Our House," "Baggy Trousers," and "It Must Be Love." Now, they are making headlines once again following the 2023 release of their latest album, Theatre of the Absurd presents C’est la vie, much to the delight of fans. The album carries the central message: “Let Madness be Madness.”

Now, Gothenburg will finally have the chance to experience the band up close as they take over Stora Scenen on June 4 for an unforgettable night.

At festivals, clubs – and everywhere. Dare to Care is primarily about creating a social culture that advocates communication, mutuality and consent in sexual relationships. In practice this involves working to establish norms and values and provide practical safety measures together with organisers, as well as talking to audiences at venues.

Through the Greentopia initiative, stakeholders in live music, the sports community and Swedish cities have formed an alliance that is committed to reducing the carbon footprint of events.

We have joined this alliance, and together with other members of Greentopia we will actively work to reduce the climate impact of our own events and strive to encourage visitors and other stakeholders to contribute to the goal of making cities climate-neutral by 2030. Our focus is on food and drink, transport and textiles.
