Liseberg aims to reduce the environmental and climate impact of its operations.

Liseberg focuses on climate issues, ecosystems, resource efficiency, and circular economy. Liseberg also aims to inspire others to make positive contributions. Through systematic work and commitment to finding better solutions and offerings, we are taking steps in the right direction.

Liseberg has the ambition to minimize its climate impact as much as possible. To achieve this, Liseberg calculates the annual carbon emissions of its operations and identifies and implements measures to reduce its carbon footprint.

Based on the 2023 climate report, similar to previous years, guest travel accounts for the largest contribution to emissions. This poses a challenge as Liseberg has limited control over these emissions. The construction of Liseberg's new hotel and the new attraction Luna constitute the second-largest contribution, followed by the climate impact from purchased food and beverages. Through various direct actions and by facilitating sustainable choices for guests, Liseberg aims to reduce its carbon footprint.
